Stone Soup for Five: Prayer Binder LIVE! from the hammock {overwhelmed edition}

Prayer Binder LIVE! from the hammock {overwhelmed edition}

How about instead of typing all the words and trying to sort out my head through my fingers, I just take you to my hammock and show you a couple pages I'm praying over today?

If you like this format of short videos once in a while, let me know in the comments here or on YouTube.  I will force myself to make more if they are an encouragement to you.

  4. This was better than good and not lame at all. As my house continues to be a revolving door, I’m praying for the hearts of those who walk through it and for the words I speak to not be my own. I’m really bad- did I say bad? I meant horrible- at keeping any sort of prayer binder, but with so much going on I thinks it’s time to try again. I need to see some silver lining praises to get through the heaviness. Thanks for the video 😊

  9. I liked the video. Really well done, despite how you may think little of it. The prayer binder is a lot like my old journal. I used to put song lyrics and scriptures into it. I never really looked at my "journaling" as a "prayer" book, but I guess it really has been - so I need to get back into it. <3

  10. Thank you. I have a similar hammock stand! I love my hammock but I have to be prepared to share it with my little boys if I climb in. I needed this encouragement to keep praying. I'm feeling s bit lost right now and need to focus on something. Thank you!

  15. Oh, to encourage each other the way we, ourselves, have received encouragement! :) (I Cor 4) This was wonderful for my soul this morning - I am very thankful that you shared it this way as sometimes I need the spoken word(s) as my eyes are exhausted!! Love you!

  18. So many of us can relate to feeling overwhelmed. I have been treading water so long that I couldn't even read this message and watch the video until today. Thankful for the encouragement - it has redirected my perspective from my circumstances to the God who is working all things for the good of His kingdom.

  19. Kari, short video is great, and I’m revisiting today. I am much more receptive today than in June for many reasons. Exciting that I can see some growth in myself, attitude and it feels peaceful.
    My mom flew off to heaven in July and I’ve been so so lonely and sad as expected. I know that Tears are a Language that God understands. I share my tears and give thanks each time (that I remember to). I listened to the song and Yes, it is in our praise.
    Also I wanted to let you know that even in a troubled time in our marriage my husband and I are seeking thru bible study to grow closer to God and each other. We studied house Ephesians doodle bible study and then went to a book on the armour. Hubby learned tonsπŸ™‚ we are now in the 11th chapter of your doodle bible study in John. Thank you for ministering to us. Blessings
