Stone Soup for Five: Video Walk through of my Prayer Binder

Video Walk through of my Prayer Binder

I got a lot of questions on how I actually USE my prayer binder, so I put together a short video for you of using it tab by tab.

I really hope this helps clarify things because I REALLY hate making videos of me!

If you have any questions, please ask in the comments or send me an email from the spot in the sidebar.

I will be putting together a tab-by-tab tutorial for the prayer binder too.

All the items I mentioned in this video are linked to in the information section on YouTube.

Thanks!
Kari

  5. This is amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I always feel like my prayer life is lacking and find it hard to stay focused. I get frustrated that my prayers do little more than list general thanks and requests everyday but have never really learned how to get personal and honest in my prayers with God. Thank you for giving me the key to grow in my prayer life. I can see that this could be life changing! Excited to get started!!

    I have 2 questions...

#1 Can you post a link to the 30/30 app you use? I can't seem to find it in the Google Plat Syore?? Your app looks really helpful!

#2 Just curious, how old are your boys? I have an almost 2 & 4 year old, and Im currently pregnant and will have a newborn around the end of July. My heart longs for this kind of structure, but this season of life I feel like I just dont have enough time & energy yo accomplish all my goals. When were you able to make this part of your everyday routine?

    1. Hi Michelle, here's the website for the app http://3030.binaryhammer.com/ that will direct you better, I hope. My boys are all teens now, and you're right, at your stage in my life I was lucky if I got a few minutes once a day to think let alone pray formally. I didn't actually put this prayer binder together until about 5 years ago, when my youngest was 10. I was actually talking to a friend about those with younger kids at home and thought that it would be amazing to just get through a prayer PAGE at this stage in life! It's a busy time and I would often read just a chapter or so of my Bible, offer up a quick prayer, then go pull a toddler down off the back of the couch. Just do what you can with what you have and keep working!
