Things to share for the week
I have a new video uploaded on my first completed sketchbook. I hadn't done any drawing in almost 20 years when I started this sketchbook and I wanted to share how it evolved and re-ignited my passion for art, which then led to my Bible Journal, which then led to writing the Bible studies. It pretty much all started because the Lord brought my oldest son home to be homeschooled (amidst much kicking and screaming from me). Now looking back, I love to see how He worked through it in MANY different areas of my life.

Bullet Journal review and plan--Oct 27th
Last week I got sick mid-week with an energy sapping cold... so most of my bullet journal items are now migrated to this week.
And that is OKAY.
Sick happens and I'm really fine with watching ten episodes of Pioneer Woman on Netflix. What I'm not fine with is the fact that I've drifted, yet again, from being super intentional with my mornings and totally slacking on my afternoons.

Homeschooling as an introvert -Links and FREE printable!
This post has been on my mind for years, and I'm finally getting around to writing it! I am a total introvert and need a LOT of quiet alone time.
Quiet.
+
+
Alone.
+
Teens.
+
Boys.
Ya, you can see how well that adds up.
So I've improvised.
We're in our 2nd year of full time homeschooling and my two oldest are in high school.
This is the first year we've done My Father's World and so far, I'm loving it, and the boys are too for the most part. But this post is not about our curriculum (I'll do a post about that later), but more about how I survive the constant non-stop togetherness (or Up In My Grill With No Breathing Room-ness) as a homeschooling mom who is also an introvert. If you're an introvert, I hope this helps you too.

Weekly Planning, first week of May!
Wow! May! And what a welcome to May 1st with a GLORIOUS, bright, warm, and sunny day!
I thought I'd do my weekly planning a little different this week and show it in a picture!
(you might notice that the Projects are EXACTLY the same as last week's list... because life happened.)
Here's to hoping I can cross everything off this week and feel productive!

ADDED TO MY 1000 GIFTS LIST THIS WEEK:
(Yup, I am reading the 1000 gifts book by Ann Voskamp and while I'm kinda a bit turned off with her wordy writing, I do like the idea of changing how I view everything by seeing it all as a gift, so I'll start my journal too...)
1- Quiet soggy gray mornings
2- Wind making the willow branches dance and drip sparkling raindrops
PRAYER
Lord, I give this new week to you. I pray that I will encourage my boys and that You will help me point out their positives more than the negatives. Help me model empathy, compassion, diligence, and glorifying You. I can't do this on my own Lord, I need You more than ever. Help me always remember that.
