I have seen meatloaf recipes where people put Texas toast slices under the meat part to catch some of the grease, but I have never tried it. Love that old type written recipe!! MS...I have a very similar typed recipe of my Mom’s. MSG - mono sodium glutamate- was used a lot back then! But it’s a big issue that causes migraines in people so I eliminate it from her recipes.
