Stone Soup for Five: THANK YOU!! What a week!

THANK YOU!! What a week!

After weeks of preparing The Promises Advent study for you, I just wanted to take a few moments to THANK YOU for all you've done for me!

This re-launch of the updated Advent study sold 300 copies on Amazon and hundreds more PDF copies!  The new interactive notebook was a hot item too, with hundreds of copies sold along with the bundle freebies!

I was so floored to hear from a church in California who bought 80 copies of the study to do with their church families... moms, dads, kids, and grandparents all digging into the prophecies of the Messiah at Christmas time!

Over on Amazon, the study went as high as #11 in their devotionals category, rubbing elbows with Tim Keller, Paul David Tripp, and Ann Voskamp and settling side by side with Dietrich Bonhoeffer's "God is in the Manger."  (What?!??)

But more than all this excitement, I pray that you get to work through the study this year and really soak up the promises of how God planned and perfectly answered all the prophecies about our Savior.  While the world seems to be in turmoil and unrest and worry, I pray you can rest just a few moments each day meditating and journaling through how perfectly God has all of this in His very capable hands.

Thank you again for how awesome you are and thanks for continuing to support and encourage me so deeply.  I pray every study I write will bring you closer to Christ.  You are such a blessing to me!

Thanks a million,

P.S.  If you want to leave a review on Amazon, I'd appreciate it a TON!  One of the best things you can do for any writer or author is give them a review on Amazon.  When a book hits a mysterious magical number, all kinds of amazing things happen on Amazon...I'm not sure what that is, but I'd love a review if you have a minute!  You can go to the page here:

P.P.S.  The price went back up to the normal rate after launch week, but Amazon lowered it back down to just $16.41 for now, so if you missed out, snatch that price up!

P.P.P.S.  I was watching my usual line up of Sunday Night YouTube videos of planner notebooks and Bible journaling and stumbled across this video of a great Bible notebook set up and then saw that she was using my 1 Corinthians study!  Too cool!

  1. Hello, I am tryng to buy the bible study, but i dont want to use Pay pal, can I buy with my card?

  2. Kari, I bought the study and am so looking forward to using it. In the actual study at the beginning where you describe creating your own advent journal and ways to use it with children, you mention an advent grid that you can look for the picture of the day, but I can't seem to find that anywhere. Can you help? Thanks!
