Stone Soup for Five: The Promises: a Christmas Advent Study, available NEXT WEEK!

The Promises: a Christmas Advent Study, available NEXT WEEK!

My editor and I have been working hard for the last couple months to bring you a totally different kind of Advent study for Christmas this year, and it's almost done!

This is different than any other study I've done and I can't wait to share it with you.  If you follow me on Facebook you know how excited I am to finish this. It has been an amazing study for me, and I know it will be for you too!

In the study we'll read through 24 of the Old Testament prophecies about the Messiah and how they were all answered in Christ.

This study can be done in one of two ways.
1.  You can read the scriptures and study guide and color the coloring page for each day.
2.  You can do the above AND create your own Advent journal, with writing prompts and doodle suggestions to make it your own.

Included in the study are Christmas Challenge sections, with very simple and fun TO DO or TO DON'T ideas for each day.  (Two of them include EXCELLENT Christmas books to check out!)  There are also Christmas carol snippets and links to listen to them online.

I am working hard to add in the coloring pages and get it ready for the release next Monday, November 23rd!  I hope to have time to make a few separate pages for children to follow along too!

Thank you for all your support through the years and I pray this will bless your season with reminders of God's love and sovereignty.

Be sure to check out the other studies available now.

See ya soon!

  1. Awesome! Can't wait for this one. I was just thinking on what I really wanted our family Christmas to be like - this study will help!

  2. I can't wait! I've been looking for a good advent study and hadn't quite found it yet! This feels just right in my spirit! Thank You!

  3. Oh Kari, I'm so excited about this! We love advent in our house, and I'm excited to see how this can add something a bit different to what we already do! Gonna share it with the missionary ladies, too!
