Finally set up my summer mantle... with the help of my uber-talented sis-in-law who has excellent taste in home decor!

Dogwood blooms from the front tree in mason jars. Driftwood from the Oregon coast in a container from the GWO (Goodwill Outlet)

This white frame was beat up wood, with a "beautiful" still life on cardboard that I covered with burlap. I had really old and yellowed sheet music that I printed out a D on and cut out and attached ala Jones Design Company. Love it (and love her)!

Cool jar from my sis in law. Aaron put the pompom in there. Guess he likes it because I threw it away. :o) Awwww....

I also changed up the entrance table. Still not done with the wall, but need my sis in law for that! This is an old shutter I got from GWO, Laugh sign and big and little twig balls from there too... oh, and candle stick and frame. LOL I'm a GWO junkie...

The cool bowl and glass ball are also from sis-in-law. I loved how this pic came out.

And this frame I just put scrapbook paper in the back and printed out font I liked for the JOY sign and painted it on the glass, then removed the paper behind. Super easy!
Looks great...I do love the blue mason jars...I need to get the wee ones bedroom done so my living room can be a toy free zone and pretty like yours.
ReplyDeleteLove it, Kari! You guys can come do my house any day!
