"When Christ is at the center, when dishes, laundry, work is my song of thanks to Him, joy rains." -Ann Voskamp
So with that quote in mind, I'll sing a song of thanks to Him today as I wash and clean up the dishes...
.
.
.
.
.
rinse and shine the cast iron...
.
.
.
.
.
wash, dry, fold and put away laundry... again.
.
.
.
.
.
As I ignore the piled higher and higher homeschool planning for next year (but am still praying over)
.
.
.
.
.
As I thank the Lord for a job that I love, and work coming in
.
.
.
.
.
As I prepare 3 meals today for my family
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
As I clean the smudgy mirrors...
.
.
.
.
.
wipe counters, put away messes...
.
.
.
.
.
As I work at maintaining a beautiful yard (and squirrel ravaged garden) we've been blessed with
.
.
.
.
.
And I'll serve him as I work through my list of mundane daily things I must get done.
In all of this there is joy.
Joy for a bright new day.
Joy for health to do all the things.
Joy for the beauty all around that my eyes rarely see.
I like your style of a daily list. Here's a schedule I TRY to keep!
