Stone Soup for Five: Dork Diaries #2

Dork Diaries #2

I just chucked an old dog food bowl as hard as I could at the Chickadee nest in our cherry tree to stop the stupid scrub jays from messing in the nest.  I hope the babies are okay.

I throw like a girl.  Especially when I'm throwing my hardest, and trying to aim.

Just found out last night that my favorite drink from Dutch Bros coffee is 400 calories... that's what, 84 points?
.
.
.

I joined Weight Watchers last week.  I've since gained .8 pounds... I am grumpy and hungry. Awesome.
.
.
.

My wii fit balance board told me I gained that .8 pounds and then had the nerve to tell me to store it flat, not leaned up against a wall like we have been because it's "bad for it's circuitry".  Wimp.

My youngest and his cousin thought it would be awesome to stand on the couch and play with their teddy bears on the shelf on my wall.
.
.
.

The shelf on my wall is no longer on my wall.
.
.
.

The items on that shelf on my wall fell all over the living room.

I wanted to yell and scream and fah-reek out.  But instead I folded laundry.

Angry folding goes fast.

I laid down on the grass and played in the dirt with my youngest one time this week.
I really REALLY don't enjoy it, but he did.
Mom-time WIN!
.
.

I also took pics of LegoNater's creations this week.
Another WIN!

Still haven't made that appointment with the Doctor that every woman dreads... maybe they'll forget?

I went to a Monastery (or Monk-ery, as my husband says) with some friends of ours and hiked up to the main grounds and snuck a pic of a Monk.  Are you supposed to take pictures?  I did it on the sly, just in case.

Notice how sneaky? That's my son's arm in the bottom corner. I just whipped that camera up and didn't even look thru the viewfinder.

Is that a win?
or a fail?

I also found it really funny (like laugh out loud funny... which is really improper in a graveyard of monks) that all the grave stones were in long orderly neat rows ...
all except Snyder's grave.

Poor Snyder was all by himself, tucked back into the bushes.  Literally IN the bushes.
Makes me wonder what Snyder did to be buried away from the others... or if it was just poor judgement on the graveyard planner's part.
Either way I laughed.
In a graveyard.
And took a picture.
Definitely a fail.
*snicker*

  1. Oh man, that Snyder story gave me the giggles. SO something I would do. I enjoyed reading every bit of this post. It flowed from one goofy entertaining thought to the next. Love it. Thank you for linking up with me, it made my day!
