Stone Soup for Five: Weekly Planning --Apr 25, 2011

Weekly Planning --Apr 25, 2011

I think I expect too much from my lazy, lover of pleasure self, because I never seem to finish all my plans for the week.  So in an effort to start Monday off on the right foot, I'll write what I DID accomplish from last week's list before starting this week's:

I DID finish my Esther Study.  WIN!

I prayed in the morning and did Bible study for 5 days. WIN!

I was consistent with checking the boys' chores (and paid the price on Saturday... when the youngest two spent about 8 hours cleaning up their room... and kept saying they were done... only to not be done.  Need to work on that.  Maybe take pics for them to know what DONE looks like?  Still thinking.)

Baked for Easter and colored eggs. WIN!

Work list was a total FAIL all the way around.  :o(

Projests another BIG FAT FAIL.

Wait, I'm supposed to be listing WINS!

Did manage to not eat out at all for 6 days this week (well, by not eat out, I mean not PAYING to eat out.  My sis took me to lunch, and so did my Aunt) :o) WIN!
THIS WEEK'S PLANS:

OVERARCHING GOALS TO FOCUS ON THIS WEEK
PRAYER DAILY, SIT DOWN DINNER TOGETHER EVERY NIGHT, BIBLE READING AFTER DINNER
(I've been so lazy about just making dinner, and everyone grabbing something and kinda sitting down together.  No purpose, no meaning.  Need to get back to everyone down, everyone talking, and start a tradition of reading a chapter from the Bible at the end.)

Spiritual:
-Pray daily
-Bible study daily
-find and commit to new Bible study

Home:
-check chores daily
-BUILD MY HOME BY ENCOURAGING AND MODELING
-bake pizza rolls (not done last week)
-bake something else
-complete three planner pages
-work on an at-a-glance schedule/plan for me!*****

Work:
-List $100 of stuff on etsy
-work on 3 commissions

Projects:
-make curtains for boys room
-scrub grossness from boys' window rails (urp)
-recover in-box. (still need to do this!)

Financial:
-no eating out all week
-list and be consistent with work time.
-work for at least 2 hours each day.  Commit to this, Kari!

Personal:
-exercise 4x this week
-mail etsy order
-order meds

What's your plan this week?

  2. Very good list. I like that you give yourself "do-able" goals. Sometimes we end up loading way too much on ourselves, and then when we can't accomplish them... we give up.
